27.12.11 Paramount Home Entertainment wird in den USA den dritten Teil des Transformer Franchises - „Transformers - Die dunkle Seite des Mondes“ (USA 2011), der auch hierzulande bereits als reine 2D-Variante [allerdings ohne Bonusmaterial] erhältlich ist - als Ultimate Trilogy Edition auf Blu-ray 3D in den Handel bringen. Die Trilogie beinhaltet alle bisher veröffentlichten Filme, sowie eine DVD des dritten Teils in Standardauflösung. Zudem bietet das Pack die 2D-Edition von „Die dunkle Seite des Mondes“ und eine BD mit Bonusmaterial. Das 7-Disc-Set wird mit jeder Menge Extras ausgestattet – darunter allein vier Stunden für den aktuell letzten Teil, die wir Ihnen im nächsten Abschnitt aufgelistet haben:

Die 3D-Fassung von „Die dunkle Seite des Mondes“ wird hierzulande ein paar Tage später, am 09. Februar 2012, veröffentlicht. Über eine mögliche Veröffentlichung der Trilogie in Deutschland wurde bisher nichts bekannt gegeben.
Update: Das oben aufgelistete Bonusmaterial wurde vor Kurzem von der FSK geprüft und hat dort eine Freigabe ab 12 Jahren erhalten. Daher kann man davon ausgehen, dass die kompletten Extras (Laufzeit -> 341:58 Minuten) auch auf der Blu-ray 3D sein werden, die im Februar in Deutschland veröffentlicht wird (Download pdf).
